Important Weekend Transportation Information

The Atlanta March for Social Justice and Women is Saturday, January 21st in the afternoon, and the Hot Chocolate 5K/15K is Sunday, January 22nd in the morning.

On Sunday, The Atlanta Falcons will play for Green Bay Packers in the Georgia Dome, located next door to the Convention Center.  There is the potential for 100,000 people to be in the area. The area around the Dome and Convention Center will be well secured.  ALA Shuttle Buses will be allowed into the area but will be searched, causing a 5 minute delay in reaching the convention center.  With the additional foot and vehicle traffic in the area, there may be additional delays.

We anticipate that the city will be busy and these events will cross our planned shuttle routes. Be sure to plan extra travel time in your schedule whether riding a bus or walking.
