If you need to schedule a meeting or need space for a reception, breakfast, or luncheon, you may do so via our online request sites.

SYMPOSIUM ON THE FUTURE OF LIBRARIES – CONCURRENT SESSIONS

The Symposium on the Future of Libraries will include seven timeslots for concurrent sessions. These concurrent sessions will provide library professionals with an opportunity to share some of the innovative work they are currently exploring in their libraries or to engage with outside innovators or experts.

Ignite Sessions

Ignite Submissions are closed.

The Ignite Sessions are 5-minute presentations accompanied by 20 slides that advance automatically every 15 seconds. There will be Ignite sessions on Saturday, Sunday, and Monday, each is 30 minutes long and consists of six 5 minute sessions. You can learn more about Ignite events on Wikipedia.

The meeting room for these sessions will be set in theater and equipped with a projector, screen, wireless internet connection, and microphones in the convention center. Your colleagues provide the great content.

The proposals go through a public voting process that will be weighted for 30% of the selection process (staff votes will account for another 30%, while the remaining 40% will be decided by an advisory group of ALA members).
