With more than 450 exhibiting organizations, multiple pavilions and stages featuring the hottest authors, and numerous related fun events, the exhibit floor is an integral part of your learning, professional development, and networking. The Exhibit Hall, located in Halls A1 and A2, offers you the opportunity to explore and discuss with expert vendors the breadth and depth of new and favorite library products, services, books, online services, tools, and technologies.

Ribbon-Cutting & Exhibits Opening Reception

The Exhibit Hall opens immediately following the Opening Session, with a ribbon-cutting ceremony featuring a brief welcome by ALA and local dignitaries. The Exhibits Opening includes food, drink, and entertainment through the exhibit hall, giving exhibitors and attendees their first chance to network as the exhibits kick off.

What's Cooking @ ALA Cooking Demonstration Stage

The What's Cooking Stage will be heating up the exhibit floor with these mouthwatering displays from the latest cookbooks, hottest chefs and best-in-the-business foodies. Chef's will be on hand to prepare the hottest resipes on the Demonstration Stage and to autograph their books. 


The PopTop Stage - Popular Topics, Every Day

The PopTop Stage features favorite genres including mystery, humor, romance, technology, and travel, with readings, discussions, panels, and presentations. Find out what's popular as we welcome in 2017!


Specialty Pavilions

Special showcase pavilions help conference attendees get an indepth look at what is new, including the latest publications, products, and technologies. Specialty Pavilions include:

Mobile Applications Pavilion

Do you need “an app for that”? Find the latest mobile apps and technology to manage your library, improve service to patrons, and help readers of all ages.

Small Press/Product Area

Where new and independent presses often launch their newest titles, and a jumping-off point for new vendors to introduce themselves to the library community.

University Press

Offering a wide variety of academic and trade titles in print and digital formats, and database products.

Internet Room

Open to ALA members, the Internet Room in the Exhibit Hall is open during exhibit hours. It is managed by ALA’s Internet Steering Committee and staffed by volunteers.

Post Office

The United States Postal Service is on hand to take care of your shipping needs, offering exclusively Priority Mail service. Check the Post Office location on site for daily hours.
